Airport Chaplain Christine Stöhr

I have been a chaplain at the airport since April 1, 2021, and love the unique atmosphere here and the idea of being on the road.

Luther's saying fits with this:

"Life is not a being pious, but a becoming pious; not a health, but a becoming healthy; not a being, but a becoming; not a rest, but an exercise. We are not yet, but we are becoming. It is not yet done or done, but it is in progress and in pregnancy. It is not the end, but it is the way."

My personal path began in Schwandorf in the Upper Palatinate, where I was born. After studying theology in Neuendettelsau and Münster and my vicariate in the Paulaner parish in Amberg, I was ordained to the spiritual ministry on April 22, 2007. This was followed by 14 years as a parish priest at the Auferstehungskirche in Landshut. I also live there with my family.

Here at the airport, I would especially like to address the employees of all work areas at the campus. As a pastor, I have time for you and an open ear for your concerns: worries, needs, life questions and happiness. Pastoral confidentiality is especially important to me. Caring for one's own soul is a powerful resource. I have made this experience.

I am happy when we meet!
